PML-N to restore Pakistan's lost status: Nawaz Sharif
Lahore: March 06, 2013( www.pmln.com.pk):. Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz President (PML-N) on Wednesday vowed to struggle for resolution of all the national issues. PML-N President was addressing session of Okara and Pakpattan's district committees. Nawaz said that now masses can easily differentiate between corrupt and the honest rulers. He urged the masses to reject corrupt leaders through power of vote. Nawaz expressed that PML-N aims to restore Pakistan’s lost status and include its name in the list of progressed countries. He also said that country cannot progress until terrorism is completely rooted out from its soil. Ch. Nisar shortlists 3 names for caretaker PM.
Islamabad:March 06, 2013( www.pmln.com.pk):.  Opposition leader in the National Assembly Chaudhry Nisar said Wednesday that his party had shortlisted three candidates for the caretaker prime minister. Nisar who was addressing a news conference said he would be replying to Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Sharaf’s letter tomorrow . The shortlisted candidates include Rasool Baksh Paleejo, Justice (r) Nasir Aslam Zahid & Justice (r) Shakirullah Jan. Huge resources are being spent on the construction of beautiful parks throughout the province: CM Punjab
Lahore:March 06, 2013( www.pmln.com.pk):.  Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has said that huge resources are being spent on the construction of beautiful parks throughout the province for providing recreational facilities to the people. He said that separate ladies parks are also being constructed for women whereas facilities have also been provided for the recreation of children in the parks. He said that every development project including construction of parks, metro bus, distribution of laptops and Ujala programme are unprecedented with regard to transparency and quality. He said that no one can quote any kind of corruption, coercion and safarish. The Chief Minister said although there is no legal binding yet as per our conscience, he has presented himself and his entire team for accountability as we consider ourselves accountable before the court of Almighty Allah, people and the law. He was addressing the inaugural ceremony of Nishat Recreational Park at Nishat Colony Lahore Cantt, here today. Best recreational facilities as well as jogging track, walkway, solar lights, children play area, gym, cafeteria and parking have been provided in the park spread over seventy seven kanals of land and completed at a cost of rupees four crore. Member National Assembly Khawaja Saad Rafique, Members Assembly Mian Naseer Ahmed, Yasin Sohal, Ghazala Saad Rafique and a large number of people were present on the occasion. Addressing the function, Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sahrif congratulated the people of the area on completion of excellent park in Nishat Colony. He said that the efforts of members assembly, district administration, DG PHA and people of the area are laudable. He said that the happiness on the faces of youth at completion of this park reflects that change which we are bringing under the leadership of Mian Nawaz Sharif. He said that raising slogans of revolution and claims of change are easy but giving them practical shape is difficult. He said that a big Khan is making false propaganda of spending Rs.70 billion on metro bus project and another gentleman who did not serve the masses during his tenure is claiming Rs.90 billion. He said that in order to expose their lie, we have handed over metro bus, Ujala programme and laptops scheme to an impartial institution, Transparency International to judge the transparency of these projects. He said that after the audit of these projects, everything would be clear. The Chief Minister said that if corruption of even a penny or any irregularity is proved in these projects we are ready to face any punishment but if the reality of expenditure and transparency of these projects is proved, then those making false propaganda should also be held accountable. He said it is very unfortunate that those people who committed massive corruption during their era are criticizing public welfare programmes. He said that Zardari and his cronies spread darkness in cities and villages of the country, looted Hujjaj, committed dacoities in banks, looted national resources ruthlessly are taunting us why we launched metro bus for the poor and workers. Shahbaz Sharif said that he used to say that the time will come that the vehicles of elite would be down and the buses of poor will be above. He said that metro bus project has proved that today the bullet proof vehicles of Prime Minister, Chief Ministers, Ministers and elite are down whereas the metro bus of poor people is above. He said that metro bus does not stop at any signal whereas the vehicles of the elite have to give way to metro bus, this is the real change. He said that metro bus, laptop, ujala programme, self employment scheme, educational fund, yellow cab scheme are our such welfare programmes which will help in eliminating gulf between poor and rich. He said that if people gave an opportunity of service, the country would be made a Pakistan of Quaid and Iqbal by eliminating corruption and darkness from the country under the leadership of Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif. Addressing the function, Member National Assembly Khawaja Saad Rafique said that a beautiful park has been constructed for providing recreational facilities to the people by saving the land of Nishat Park from ‘qabza’ groups. He said that the foundation of change has been laid by abolishing discretionary quota. He said that the youth of the country are with Nawaz Sharif for saving Pakistan. Members Provincial Assembly Mian Naseer Ahmed, addressing on the occasion, said that completion of mega projects in the area is a clear proof of the development vision of Shahbaz Sharif. He said that the barren land of Nishat Colony has been changed into a beautiful park. Earlier, the Chief Minister inaugurated the park and inspected the recreational facilities being provided there. Upon seeing the Chief Minister, the people raised slogans enthusiastically.

Member Federal Council of Pakistan Peoples Party and MPA from PA-200 Multan Ahmed Hussain Dehar called on Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif and while expressing full confidence in the leadership of Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif announced to join Pakistan Muslim League-N. Chairman Lahore Transport Company Khawaja Ahmed Hassan and Advisor Zaeem Hussain Qadri were also present on the occasion. Ahmed Hussain Dehar was the close companion of former Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gillani and President PPP Multan Division from 1997. Ahmed Hussain Dehar has sent his resignation from membership of provincial assembly to the Speaker Punjab Assembly. Welcoming the joining of PML-N by Ahmed Hussain Dehar, Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif said that the party will further strengthen in the area. The Chief Minister said that due to the politics of public service, PML-N has become the most popular party of the country and Zar Baba Forty Thieves will be given crushing defeat in the forthcoming general elections. He said people are fully aware that who committed corruption and who served the masses. He said that Rs.260 billion have been spent during the last five years for the progress and prosperity of the people of South Punjab. On this occasion, Ahmed Hussain Dehar said that he has joined PML-N unconditionally and sent his resignation from membership of provincial assembly to the Speaker Punjab Assembly. He said that he will work as a party worker under the leadership of Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and make all out efforts for further activating the party in the area. Corruption of Zardari government has destroyed the economy: Shahbaz Sharif
Lahore:March 06, 2013( www.pmln.com.pk):.  Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has said that corruption of Zardari government has destroyed the economy while poverty, unemployment and price-hike have tremendously increased during his tenure. He said that the masses should elect Pakistan Muslim League-N in the forthcoming general elections to rid the country of all its problems. He said that the darkness will be removed within two years while corruption will be eradicated and looted money will be recovered and utilized for the benefit of the masses. He said that Punjab government has completed development projects worth billions of rupees in the province including district Sialkot during the last five years. He was addressing a big public meeting at the ground of Government High School No. 1 Pasrur. Members National Assembly Khawaja Asif, Zahid Hamid, Advisors Zaeem Hussain Qadri, Mansha Ullah Butt, Muslim League leaders and a large number of party workers were also present. Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif said that like the past, district Sialkot will prove to be a bastion of Muslim League-N in the forthcoming general elections as well and people of the area will bring about a thumping success for Muslim League candidates for expressing their confidence in the leadership of Muhammad Nawaz Sharif. He said that Punjab government has executed development programmes worth billions of rupees for the benefit of students, farmers and workers. He said that a number of programmes are also in progress for empowerment of the youth. He said that Zardari and his cronies have destroyed the country by looting billions of rupees and every Pakistani from Karachi to Peshawar is worried at the misdeeds of the corrupt gang. He said that contrary to this, Punjab government has utilized funds in a transparent manner for providing relief to the masses. He said that he will be accountable to the people if corruption of even a single penny is proved in the execution of development projects. Member National Assembly from Pasrur, Zahid Hamid said that people of the area have a deep love and affection for Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and will ensure a thumping success of PML-N in the forthcoming general elections. He said that Punjab has made tremendous success under the leadership of Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif who has given top priority to education sector. He said that Daanish School project, laptop scheme, Aashiyana Scheme, Ujala programme and metro bus service are glorious achievements of Chief Minister Punjab. Earlier, Shahbaz Sharif inaugurated Cadet College Pasrur. He was also given a briefing on the college.

Senator Sirdar Zulfiqar Ali Khan Khosa has said that instead of sharing the grief of the affectees of Abbas Town Karachi tragedy, leveling of baseless allegations by Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik against Punjab government for point scoring is lamentable. While commenting upon the statement of Rehman Malik, Senator Zulfiqar Ali Khan Khosa said that what can be expected from a person like Rehman Malik who tells lie round the clock. Rehman Malik will never speak truth to the masses, he added. Sirdar Zulfiqar Khosa said it is very ridiculous that Rehman Malik is linking those involved in terrorist activities in Karachi and Quetta to Punjab. He said that Rehman Malik is Interior Minsiter of the country, why he does not arrest the terrorists involved in terrorist activities in Karachi and Quetta.
